Composable CDP

Component-based CDP architecture

A composable CDP distributes collection, modeling, identity, audiences, and activation across connected components, usually with the warehouse as the source of truth.

When it applies
It can fit when a governed data platform already exists, the team can operate integrations, and each capability needs to be selected or replaced independently.
What it is confused with
Composable does not mean connecting many APIs without an operating model. It also does not describe one product: it describes where responsibilities live and how they are assembled.
Architecture consequence
Identity, consent, data contracts, observability, and failure recovery become your design responsibility. Flexibility moves the cost; it does not remove it.
