Legal and privacy notice

How this site works and what happens to your data when you contact me.

Owner: Adrià García Castejón, an independent professional based in Barcelona, Spain.

Activity: marketing technology consulting and solution architecture, specifically Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time CDP and Adobe Journey Optimizer.

This is a static site. It uses no cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or forms. It only stores your light or dark mode preference in your browser.

Appearance preference

When you choose light or dark mode, the browser stores the "adria-theme" key in localStorage with the value "light" or "dark". It does not identify anyone, is not sent to the server, and can be removed through your browser settings.

Controller and contact

The data controller is Adrià García Castejón. You can raise any privacy question through the email address published on this page.

Data and purposes

If you contact me by email or LinkedIn, I will process the data you choose to include, such as your name, contact details, company, role, message, or résumé.

I will use it to reply, assess the proposed project or position, and manage the necessary communications.

Legal basis

Project enquiries are processed to take pre-contractual steps at your request. Other enquiries rely on my legitimate interest in managing professional contact. If a contract follows, the contract and applicable legal obligations also apply.

Retention

I will keep messages while they are needed to manage the conversation or professional relationship. They may then remain restricted for as long as required to address potential legal liabilities.

If a proposal does not proceed, I will not retain a résumé for future opportunities unless we agree to stay in contact.

Providers and transfers

I do not sell data or disclose it for commercial purposes. I use Cloudflare for hosting, Google for email, and LinkedIn when you choose that channel.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the mechanisms and safeguards described in their respective policies.

Technical hosting data

Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as the IP address, requested URL, date, time, and basic connection data. I do not use this data to build profiles or measure your browsing.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction, or portability where applicable. Email me with the subject "Privacy". You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Automated decisions

I do not make automated decisions or build profiles from data received through this site.
